AFL Halftime Performance at Optus Stadium

Performing at halftime of a Fremantle Dockers home game at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, was one of the most surreal moments of my career so far. In front of more than 50,000 people, I had the opportunity to perform my original song “Interstate” — a song I wrote in my bedroom about my journey as a kid from a small town pursuing music - I never could have imagined one day singing to a crowd of that size.

Hearing thousands of people around me while performing words that I had originally written alone was an incredibly proud and humbling feeling. It was a moment that reminded me why I started writing music in the first place.

Playing at one of Australia’s biggest sporting venues and bringing my own original music to such a huge audience was an unforgettable milestone in my journey as an artist and live performer. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase my music on a massive stage and experience the energy of a Fremantle Dockers home game - A moment i’ll never forget.
